Dim Sum at Horizon Hill Bukit Indah

A new dim sum restaurant sprouted out at the row of partly deserted shophouses in the development of Horizon Hill, just across the Primary School. Spoke to the lady boss and learnt that they are a shop from Johor Jaya. This was further verified from friends who live in Johor Jaya that  their flagship shop at Johor Jaya is really popular and gets real crowded during the weekends. The shop here at Horizon Hills is real quiet when I visited. But I have a feeling that it won't remain like this for a long time. 

My take: The steam dim sum is so so. Nothing to rave about.  But some of the fried items there are done almost perfect. The soft fried carrot cake is done just right and the soft egg tarts are a perfect compliment with the hot tea. The porridge leaves your mouth feeling good with not too much salt nor msg. I would definitely frequent this place for my dim sum cravings.
